We don’t like long, confusing warranty policies, so we simplified ours into a few paragraphs. It should tell you everything you need to know.   

Lume Lighting warrants all its products against defects in materials and workmanship.  At our discretion, we will repair or replace any item which has failed under normal operating conditions and has not been subject to abuse, harsh conditions, or natural disasters.   All our products include a warranty listed and subject to the terms below.

• Brass Fixtures: 5 Years

• Aluminum Fixtures: 3 Years

• Photocells and Timers:  1 Year

• Transformers: 5 Years

All fixtures must use an approved transformer, installed and maintained correctly, adhering to local electrical codes.  

To begin a claim on a light fixture or transformer, the original owner must contact their distributor and for a Return Authorization and ship the alleged defective product to their distributor.  The returned product must include proof of purchase, purchasers name, return address and a detailed description of the problems.
Owner is responsible to remove, repair, or reinstall any product. Lume Lighting LLC reserves the right to have a technician inspect the installation prior to removal of fixture. If any of the warranted products are found to be defective, such products will be replaced, repaired or refunded, at the discretion of Lume Lighting.
Repaired or replaced product will be returned prepaid according to the shipping information provided by the original purchaser as noted on the RGA. The parties hereto expressly agree that purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy against Lume Lighting shall be for the repair, replacement, or refund of defective products.  This warranty extends only to the original owner and is not transferable to others. The warranty only covers the replacement or repair of the defective product and does not cover installation or other expenses which may be incurred.
This warranty does not apply to any products that have been subject to misuse, mishandling, misapplication, neglect, accident, improper installation, acts of god, improper packaging of returned products, modification, lightning strikes, voltage surges, or operating voltages in excess of +/ – 10% of 12 volts.
This warranty supercedes all other warranties. Owner shall in not be entitled to, and Lume lighting shall not be liable for consequential damages of any nature.  No employee or agent of Lume Lighting may extend, modify and /or change the terms of this warranty.
